I wish there were a way to allow people to 'list' what their other is on the poll...but since I'm incapable of figuring that out...if you are willing I'd like you to explain your other in the comment section of this post! Please...I'd love to know!
I was leaning towards the ingratitude/rejection of hospitality idea. Whenever I think of debt, it seems less personal/meaningful. But at the same time, I can see a lot of reasons to call it such. You could have made the poll multiple-multiple choice...

ReplyDeleteI see the idea of debt when you single out the language that way. We use, "Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us." I like to think of God as constantly pursuing me... wanting me... calling me... and sin is me consciously saying, "No Thanks. (I've got a better plan.)" I'm just glad He's always right there when I find the right direction again. But I'm more glad He's right there as I sin, and He keeps pursuing me anyway!
ReplyDeleteWhat I think when I realize that I have sinned is that I've just hurt my best friend - again. Whether it is against Him or one of His children, it always hurts Him, which hurts me to know that I've done it again.
